Healing the Hidden Wounds of Adoption: A 2-Day Family & Systemic Constellations Workshop

By registering for this workshop, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Eligibility

This workshop is open to adoptees andĀ first parents impacted by past forced adoption policies and practices in Queensland.

Completion of the Expression of Interest form and a follow-up conversation with a facilitator is required before registration is confirmed.
2. Participation

This is a group-based workshop. You are encouraged to participate at a level that feels safe and appropriate for you.

You are responsible for your own wellbeing and may step out, pause or request support at any time.

The facilitators will provide guidance, support and a safe framework, but this workshop is not a substitute for individual therapy or crisis support.
3. Confidentiality

All participants agree to maintain the privacy and confidentiality of fellow participants.

Stories, experiences and personal details shared during the workshop must not be repeated outside the group.
4. Safety & Respect

Respectful behaviour towards facilitators, participants and the venue is required at all times.

The facilitators reserve the right to ask any participant to leave if their behaviour compromises the safety or wellbeing of the group.
5. Cancellations

If you need to cancel your attendance, please notify us as soon as possible so your place can be offered to someone on the waitlist.

As this workshop is fully funded by Jigsaw Qld, there is no financial cost to participants, but your commitment to attend is important to ensure the opportunity is available for those who need it.
6. Liability

While every effort will be made to create a safe and supportive environment, participation in this workshop is voluntary and undertaken at your own discretion.

Facilitators and organisers are not liable for any injury, loss or damages that may occur during or as a result of the workshop.
